Merry Christmas everyone!!

I hope your celebrations bring you joy (and gifts :3 )

I started the day with finishing a drawing from yesterday, then I decorated the tree (it's a tradition that I dress up the tree) and I just finished watching Disney's christmas special and made marzipan confection. (three logs; one with nougat, candycane and cognac, one with nougat and almonds, and one with bailey's. All three covered in white and dark chocolate)

It's time to set the table, and then it'll be time to eat food most delish!

Oh god! I love the music from this musical SO much! It's amazing!! I love the touches of classical music that supports the songs!!

I just have to share this with you. It's so grand, sorrowful and amazing!! It makes me cry ;_;

While waiting...

I'm watching "How do you solve a problem like Maria?" on BBC Entertainment, while waiting for Eri to come home.

Yesterday was awesome! I headed for Copenhagen after getting Eri's message, and visited her at her boyfriend's apartment (where she's staying lately, as she has so much extra work, keeping her at the office till very late every day, and her boy lives almost right next to her work.)
We watched 27 Dresses and Star Trek, as well as some of 300 and LOTR-The King Returns.
Eri heated some Spaghetti Carbonara from friday night and made salat, which we wolfed down while watching movies. Eri's boy returned from school just as we had popped on Star Trek and hung out with us watching the movie, as well as these two gems from youtube:




Hahaha!! It's so retarded!! I laughed my ass off! I swear, I haven't laughed like that for ages!!

Great! Doctor Who is on tv now!! (I'm a geek, sue me!)
Aaaanywho, waiting for Eri to arrive, as we're trading gifts, enjoying the Christmas spirit and make marzipan confections(?). We're probably going to watch some movies too, and enjoy hot tea while being glad we aren't outside in the beautiful, but freezing cold snow.

Oh well, I better get going, since I need to wrap Eri's present in paper.

Random update

I just lurve my new layout!!! It needs a little tweaking, but I'm almost there. Spend something around 3 hours on it yesterday. I'm veeeery, very bad with html, so that explains it. I have to try every little change out and see if it's something that works XD

But it's cute, right? Not too over the top?

I'm watching Roi Soleil with Karina while waiting for Eri to call.
Seriously, that musical is SO fantastic!! I just got it on dvd, and it's amazing!! Every single song is beautiful and the costumes are breathtaking!!

White white winter wonderland

I'm so late with this update. So sorry about that. At least I have something that'll make up for it. I'll get to that soon.

I promised a photo of the outfit I wore at Stine's birthday last weekend, and this was it:

And her, the thing that makes up for my update delay: It began snowing!! Yes!! (I hope we keep it until Christmas Eve. There's nothing like a white Christmas <3 ) My roomie and I took advantage of the beautiful weather and went out to take photos.

I was originally wearing a jacket, but decided to ditch it as it made the JSK look even shorter (and the outfit a bit boring)

Doing hair

Hello everyone. I hope you're enjoying your weekend?

Yesterday I made another video tutorial of sorts. It shows how I do a cascading ponytale using fake hair (the type of extensions that're mounted on a piece of lace/tulle, meant to klip onto your ponytale).



I hope it's useful, and if not, at least fun to watch ^_^

Today I will be making a birthday gift for my friend Stine, as it's her birthday tomorrow.
I look forward to the small get-together, as I've acquired a new outfit that I rather like. It not lolita at all, more in the sweet gyaru style :3 I'll try to remember to take photos.

I had nothing to do today, which sucks. But seeing as I'm not one to sit still and wallow in my boredom, I figured I'd try doing a tutorial of sorts.

I've been into gyaru fashion alot lately. Not so much that I'm considering leaving lolita fashion, but still, I think it's a style I need to get comfortable with, as I'm almost 30 now, and I can't be lolita forever. There's so many styles and features within the gyaru fashion, and also alot of constant movement, like most fashion.

This is my little tutorial. It doesn't go indepth at all, but it was fun to try.




If you want more indepth tutorials, I suggest you check out Michelle Phan who has alot of great make-up tutorials. Not gyaru specific, but there's alot of tips and tricks for you to pick up:
