Freaky Friday Copenhagen Burlesque

Hey guys!! Work and firends keep me busy, but I recently attended an amazing party, and I've been meaning to do an update about it.
Last year, one of my friends send me a link on Facebook about this event, and I remember being very disappointed that I couldn't attend Copenhagen Burlesque. So this year I was ready, got in touch with a bunch of friends and we all met up at Marie and Anja's place where we got ready.
Being a Burlesque themed event, there were of course a strict dresscode. No sneakers or jeans allowed, but lots of corsets and more. The code said vintage, burlesque, steampunk, fantasy etc. So I planned on taking a mix of romantic fantasy and burlesque, and collected all sorts of things from my closet. I don't think I've ever had that much extensions in my hair XD 5 pieces to boost up my hair to epic proportions (at least to me). I also incorporated flowers and a pair of white fawn horns with gold dust sprayed in my hair (this, is the hair of a killer!!" *glittery angst*)

Stine, Cecil and I. Those shoes make me SO tall (187 cm!), so I had to crouch a tad.

The party was epic!! There were so many fantastically dressed people, and the music was a cool mix of 20's, 50's, 60's and recent music. And don't even get me started on the DJ! He was so awesome, dancing russian folk dance on stage, wearing a uniform. He mouthed along to each song he played, and sometimes strode into the dancing crowds with a megafone, commanding people to dance more! I loved him!

Mmm! Lookit that DJ!! He'd taken of his jacket by then.

I also ran into an old friend from the gothic scene, so we reminisced and took photos with Stine.
She and I always danced together, and she's quite the creature still!

Cecil and I. Looking quite the Gackt here. I know Cecil hates me
when I say that, but I mean it as a big compliment (Gackt is hawt)

There were also live acts. The weirdest circus freak act, silent movie live act, burlesque striptease, a girl playing with whipped cream on the bar and more. I didn't see much of it though, taking the opportunity to rest my feet and chatting with my crew.

Who were looking amazing!!

I only had one drink, as the prices were RIDICULOUS! (my only complaint)

Marie and I, veeeery serious, because Burlesque is srs bsns.

Crowd shot from the sideline, The dancefloor was huge, and the same was the lounge area, as
the venue is normally a restaurant with entertainment.

My darlings!

We stayed until closing time, which was around five in the morning, and barely managed to catch the last bus. I crashed at M and A's place, together with Cecil, Momo and Stine. The whole of saturday was spend getting back to "health" watching The Mighty Boosh (I do love me some Vince!).

And now, to that part you all know comes last. The songs I've listening to the most lately.

Taeyang's (of Bigbang) latest solo track: I'll be there

I lurve this! Great beat, awesome dancing and flawless vocals ( even behind all the autotune).

2PM's Heartbeat

Except for the silly ponytails, this is a cool video, and if you read the translation, this is probably some of the most wangsty lyrics ever.

That's it for tonight.Be good!

1 Kisses:
