Ok, so I said I'd post on thursday, but, I was delayed. Sorry about that.
At least I have even more random stuff to share.
Some time ago(read: looong time) I ordered three Bodyline skirts, and while it took them a long (read: loooooooooooooooooong) time to arrive, they finally did (after I had to send info to Customs about my purchase of "3 baby dresses" as the called them XD ).

They arrived, to my astonishment, in a box! According to Savage Lily, this might be pure chance, but I thought that it might be because I used EMS and not DHL... but I really don't know XD

I already own this in blue, but I really love mint, and decided to get this version as well.
I don't really wear the detachable bow, you get with the Bodyline skirts. I find it a bit too stiff and, it sits really huge.

Aaah, the best of the three skirts! This is just so over the top, delicious and cute!!
You can coordinate it with so many colors, and there's plenty of inspiration for accessories in the print ^___^

This was a bit of an experiment. I knew it was available in tall, so to see how that length would look, I ordered it. Aaaand, uuuuhm...

Length comparison

This thing is SO looong XD The dark skirt reaches to just above my knees, and the pink one reaches to way past them. Thing is, I don't think they've added more fabric to the circumference, so it gets an odd shape with the type of petticoat I wear.
I don't know if I'll just alter it, or sell it. I'm definitely not tall/long-legged enough for it.

A girl from the danish lolita community recently decided to leave lolita, and put up a sales post. Among the items for sale, she had an Angelic Pretty Magic Etoile skirt in black. This is one of my dream prints! I love it in all colorways, and have always lamented that I probably wouldn't find one in a reasonable price range. But there it was! I contacted her and offered a combination of purchase and swap (my Btssb bear bolero) and she accepted.

The bow didn't come with, but I didn't mind.

Now, seeing as this is Angelic Pretty, and I'm neither japanese or small framed (right use of word?) This is not a skirt I fit into, but... when has that ever stopped me? So, this gorgeous thing needs to be altered slightly. A scaaaary job, but I'll manage. I hope.

Yesterdays coordination, chosen very fast, worn at a party


This was today's main outfit, which I wore for a impromptu photoshoot with Savage Lily.
It was SO cold on the hands, but otherwise not too bad. I wore black patent Bodyline shoes with it.

It's so much harder to model than one thinks! It's one thing to stand at home taking a few pictures, but it's a whole nother kettle of fish ( XD ) to pose for a photographer. I never knew what to do with my hands, getting awfully self concious and therefore goofing around more than normally XD. I have so much respect for professional models! We did get a few good shots, and talked a lot of ideas for future photoshoots (with more than one model).

As you may know, I kind of, kiiiind of, like Tron Legacy (ok, who am I kidding here??). After watching the movie the first time, I kind went into a... frenzy, and looked for merchandise. In the mall where I work, there's also a Toys R' Us, and they had some of the things that Spinmaster created for Tron Legacy.

Rinzler, Clu and a Black Guard (complete with oreos on his legs XD )

It started off with me juuust buying the Sam Flynn action figure (it was more than half price off!) and then I needed Clu... and then... well you get the picture! I wanted all the cool guys!!

Sam Flynn, and my Identity Disc!!

The figures of Sam and Clu has something called impulse projection; When you push a small button, the helmet lits up, showing the characters face, and it moves as he says various lines from the movie (and some that's not "So... you like bikes?" WTF, mate???). It's pretty spiffy!

Then there was another reduction in price at Toys R' Us, and I bought these three too. Kevin Flynn's retro cycle, Clu's and Sam's.

And then I went and got the insanely awesome Identity Disc (this one is the Sam Flynn version). It lights up and makes sounds! And has a pretty display stand too. I'm going to get the Kevin Flynn Identity Disc too, as it comes in white, and I think they'd look awesome next to eachother!! XD
I guess I collect figurines now??
