Artsy fartsy return

Hellooooo!!

I've been very much absent :3 Mostly because of being away on vacation for a week. I went with most of my family, except my sister who stayed home taking care of her horses and the family pets. We went to Ebeltoft which is some 4 hours and a ferry ride away from where I live. Not far, but it was exactly what I needed. I brought my laptop and my wacom tablet, and finished 3 pieces in between going to various sights (such as Randers Rainforest) and getting lost in a forest (I clearly found my way back eventually).
Another reason for my absence is that I've been modelling together with three colleagues for a fairytale themed photoshoot, captured by the awsum Savage Lilly, and I made the most crazy hat in my crafting career. But I can't share any of it with you just yet, as it's for a danish online lolita magazine.
I have been wearing lolita as much as possible, even brought nothing BUT lolita fashion with me on vacation, but nothing special, as there was limited luggage space, so no photos (yeah yeah, pictures or it didn't happen. But you'll have to live without).

But what I CAN show you, is the drawing I finished while being away.

This still reminds me a lot of one of the danish lolitas, which got me thinking, maybe I should do portraits of some of the girls I know and admire :3

I'm SO proud of this last one. The perspective is fun, and I worked hard on the print details on the dress. I actually have this print ready for production, if I want to make the dress for real.
Any of you Angelic Pretty suave people out there will recognize the inspiration for this, as one of my dream prints is Rose Toilette (don't you just wince at that name? I know the meaning, but still) and I wanted to make my own interpretation. Not sure about the stripes yet, but the rest is pretty final. I can even easily switch out the base colour.
I'll do a post on that later.
