Sky blues and mint greens

This sunday was all about the frills!! I packed my schtuurf and headed to Savage Lilly's house on Frederiksberg, arriving at her doorstep at 11.
My plan was a tad too elaborate for 7 hours of work, but I did manage to finish most of a jumperskirt and modifying a cardigan into a bolero (and taking photos for a simple tutorial).

Of course, I also took photos of everything else, cuz you know the phrase "Pictures, or it didn't happen!" is so true!

How gorgeous is Sabrina's outfit? I squeed when I saw her, in her glorious Meta Swanlake skirt and lavender cardi. I don't have any full shots of her, but I'm sure she'll post on her blog.

Here's what I managed to finish before wanting to try my hand at the bolero

I spent some time on the front here, but clever me, I did the work the night before, so I only had to sew everything together :3

You might notice that the waist ribbon is only pinned on.
This is because I haven't decided how to fastened it to the back.

I'll probably end up just letting it follow the shirring, but I just like how this looks.
But seeing as there is no zipper, only shirring in the back, I don't see how that can be done.

CARDI TAAAIIIIME!!!

Standard, boring H&M cardigan, which, as I think everyone knows, is a bit too long to work super well with lolita.


But then magic happened and....

It turned out just as I had hoped!! I'm going to find a cute button for the closure, but I could also just put in ribbons instead (I think I'll do that with the next cardi I modify)

At lunch, we watched an episode of Supernatural se. 1 which I introduced Sabrina to some time ago, and we ended up watching more on her mac after we continued work.

Sorry, no outfit photos. What I wore was boring and black :/
Tomorrow, I'll do a photodump since I've snapped a few around my room while cleaning.
