30 days of lolita. Day 2 - 10 things you love in lolita

Trust me, I haven't been lazy, at all... well, ok, with posting, yes. But while I've been away, I've been, other than working in the bookstore, working on new dresses, drawings, hanging out with my best friend and her babygirl Emma. I've also joined the staff of a danish lolita magazine and I've been running around with my Frill Cult friend, Sabrina.

Last weekend we went to a park near her place, which is just the most beautiful place! You can see elephants if you're lucky (since the zoo has it's elephant pasture built out into the park.) We went twinning, her in her plum colored IW dress, and I in my dusty green one. Hers is the short version, and I've got the long one, but with our hight difference, the hem of the skirts are almost level to eachother XD
I wanted to go all nature girl-ish, so I had bare feet in the park... not that loli, but it felt very nice ^_^ Photos are, of course, by Sabrina from Savage Lilly

Rundown
Blouse - Bik Bok
JSK - Christina of Innocent World
Parasol - Borrowed from Sabrina
Bling - Accessorize's teacup set

So what's your opion on going bare footed?

However I also need to get out of this blogging slum!! I don't want to loose readers. So let's go for a meme!!

10 things I love in lolita
1. The core of lolita fashion; the delicate fabrics, fantastical color combos, or muted tones, pretty lace and attention to details.

2. The siluette of lolita. It’s so intensely feminine and flattering, when done right.

3. Surfing my favorite lolita blogs and reading about others experiences.

4. The visual aspect. Most lolitas put a lot of effort into taking photos and sharing them with others, and I love that! I love pretty pictures to look at.

5. Brand blogs! So much inspiration!

6. Hanging out with Sabrina, talking prints, dresses, drama, photoshoots, and watching Supernatural while crafting :3

7. Spending hours on getting ready, taking care to take things slow and enjoy all the preening, watching a movie while doing my nails or make-up.

8. The international aspect. Connecting with girls from all over the world, sharing the frills :3

9. Creating things. Dresses, skirts, accessories… HATS! I love being creative, not to mention drawing up all my designs.

10. the dream. Or should it be THE Dream: Of looking as perfect as I can, getting everything just right and stepping outside, looking how I want to look, for my sake, and no one elses.

~Be good~
